A Letter from our Founder

Dear Friends, Supporters, and Allies,

I am thrilled to officially introduce Equality Fest, a 501c3 organization based in Gainesville, Georgia, dedicated to creating an inclusive and supportive environment for the LGBTQ+ community and other minorities. Equality Fest was founded on a simple yet powerful belief: while we may all be different, we are created equal.

Our mission is to celebrate diversity, promote understanding, and support the marginalized communities that make our world richer and more vibrant. By fostering a sense of unity and pride, we aim to empower individuals and organizations alike to champion equality and drive meaningful change.

As the founder of Equality Fest, I take this responsibility with the utmost seriousness and joy. I am committed to ensuring that our organization is a safe and thriving space for collaboration, growth, and advocacy. Our vision is bold, but together with your help, we can make it a reality.

Here are some of the initiatives and programs you can expect from Equality Fest:

  • Community Events: Festivals, workshops, and activities that foster inclusion and celebration

  • Support for Local Charities: Profits at the end of the year will be disbursed to local charities

  • Volunteer Engagement: Opportunities for individuals to contribute time and skills toward meaningful causes

We invite you to join us on this journey. Whether as a volunteer, supporter, or partner, your involvement can make a real difference. Let us stand together for love, equality, and inclusion. With your support, Equality Fest will shine as a beacon of hope and a catalyst for progress.

Thank you for believing in this vision. Together, we can make Gainesville—and the state of Georgia—a more equitable place for all.

In solidarity,

Les Fisher/Mona Lott
